Yes. Creating a profile, browsing funding calls and events, joining the researcher network and using mentorship are free. Premium, at 49 MAD per month, adds the AI literature library, the full Baahith assistant and the advanced Compass tools.

Do I need to be enrolled in a Moroccan university?

No. PhiDoc is built for Moroccan researchers wherever they study, and for researchers of any nationality working in Morocco. Doctoral students in cotutelle or fully abroad use the same platform.

Does PhiDoc replace my doctoral school or my supervisor?

No, and it is not meant to. Your doctoral school handles your enrolment and your defence, and your supervisor directs the science. PhiDoc carries the practical work around that: literature, funding, progress, mentorship and the network.

What if my supervisor is unavailable?

This is the most common reason people join. A PhiDoc mentor is an experienced researcher outside your lab who can read your work and answer your questions independently of your supervisor, without any institutional role in your thesis.

Does it work for every discipline?
