You spend karma credits to post (50 for quantitative surveys, 75 for qualitative interviews) and earn credits by participating in others' research (10 per verified survey response, 30 per confirmed interview). Every new account starts with 100 credits, enough for your first post without having to participate first.

How does the Mentorship Program work?

Any member can opt in as a mentor from their profile settings. What decides it is having the capacity to help, not where you are based or whether you have defended: a fourth-year PhD student can mentor a first-year just as a professor can. Mentees browse the mentor directory, filter by field or institution, and send a pairing request with a short message. Once the mentor accepts, a private conversation channel opens automatically in PhiDoc Messages and sessions can be logged directly in the app.
